Big acts to per­form at con­cert

A pupil at Stam­ford School is plan­ning a huge fundrais­ing con­cert with per­for­mances from big name acts in­clud­ing Jay Sean, Scout­ing For Girls and Top Loader.

James El­lis (17) is the driv­ing force be­hind the event to be held on Fri­day, Novem­ber 4 at the Peter­bor­ough Arena.

All of the profits will be split be­tween: #TeamGe­orge, Anna’sHope, theIn­juredJock­eys Fund and the Matt Hamp­son Foun­da­tion.

James is a school friend of Ge­orge Robin­son who was se­ri­ously in­jured play­ing rugby in South Africa last year.

#TeamGe­orge­was­se­tupto sup­port his on­go­ing care.

He­said: “Ge­orge’s ac­ci­dent made­me­re­alise­how­pre­cious life re­ally is and I was de­ter­mined to or­gan­ise an event which­can­sup­port­ben­e­fi­cia­ries that doa­maz­ing­work­with peo­ple who re­ally need it.”
