Cas­tor’s old-timers Nigel King and Si­mon Brown were in prime form, but the club sec­ond team still lost a Di­vi­sion Four match by two wick­ets at King’s Keys. King struck an un­beaten 96, while Brown bagged 4-47. Spald­ing’s high score record has been bro­ken for the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive week. Jimmy Hook blasted 160 for Spald­ing in a big Di­vi­sion Six win over Moul­ton Har­rox sec­onds just a week af­ter Hafiz Majeed’s 158 in a South Lincs Premier Di­vi­sion win over Long Sut­ton. Adil Billa reg­is­tered a sec­ond cen­tury in suc­ces­sive Sun­days for Whit­tle­sey sec­onds. His 103 last week­end ar­rived in a Di­vi­sion Six de­feat to Uff­in­g­ton sec­onds.
