Old King is usurped by younger Kings
Castor’s old-timers Nigel King and Simon Brown were in prime form, but the club second team still lost a Division Four match by two wickets at King’s Keys. King struck an unbeaten 96, while Brown bagged 4-47. Spalding’s high score record has been broken for the second consecutive week. Jimmy Hook blasted 160 for Spalding in a big Division Six win over Moulton Harrox seconds just a week after Hafiz Majeed’s 158 in a South Lincs Premier Division win over Long Sutton. Adil Billa registered a second century in successive Sundays for Whittlesey seconds. His 103 last weekend arrived in a Division Six defeat to Uffington seconds.
