Huge frustration caused by the dozy parkers

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Your Views -

We’ve all experienced the frustration of people who park without any thought for others or the problems they are causing. A new scheme aimed at dozy parkers who causing problems for residents in many parts of the city has been launched by Neighbourhood Watch - supported by the police. The scheme will see a notice placed on the windows of offending vehicles by members of more than 300 Neighbourhood Watch groups across the city. It’s a laudable scheme and one which takes a large amount of good citizenship backed up the courage to take action and point out their errors to offending drivers. Many who have in the past challenged dozy parkers might also report the anti-social response they got to a request not to repeat poor parking - which is why it’s important this scheme is supported by the police.
