Extradition to take place in Rikki case
Extradition proceedings are taking place to bring a man arrested on suspicion of murdering Peterborough schoolboy Rikki Neave back to the UK.
JamesWatson(35) wasarrested underaEuropeanArrest WarrantinPortugallast weekonsuspicionofbreaching his licence.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesmansaidWatsonhad appeared in a Portuguese court on Thursday, August 3, andwasnotfightingextradition proceedings.
The force was given 10 days to bring himbacktothe UK, and the spokesman said it was expected he would be back in Britain by the end of the week.
Watson, of Peterborough, is due to answer police bail in connection with the 1994 murder of 6-year-old Rikki on September 20.
