Plenty to cel­e­brate for four gen­er­a­tions

Four gen­er­a­tions came to­gether to cel­e­brate 90th and 4th birth­day par­ties, with fam­ily fly­ing in for the oc­ca­sion. Ted Caven­der of Crease Drove, Crow­land, and great-grand­son Owen Lade from Bar­rie in On­tario, Canada (both front-row) had birth­days to re­mem­ber last week. The party for Ted was at Leeds Hall in Eye where his grand­daugh­ter Me­gan Caven­der (Owen’s mum) sang the Bob Dy­lan song ‘Make you feel my love’. Me­gan said: “He looked happy and had lots of cards.” Me­gan fea­tured in the Peter­bor­ough Tele­graph in 1987 cel­e­brat­ing her third birth­day with play­group friends in Crow­land be­fore hav­ing to fly back to Canada af­ter her 10 week visit came to an end.
