Official opening for company’s £1.3 million development
A £1.3 million redevelopment of the head office of an agricultural seed supplier has just been officially opened. Peterborough MP Stewart Jackson, in the presence of senior members of the agricultural industry, was invited to open the development at the £80 million-a year-turnover Dalmark Group, in Eye.
Thedevelopmentincludes an extension to the grain and seed trading office, a 100 sq m central atrium, three meeting rooms, a gymnasium and improvedcateringandrestroom facilities.
Construction work began in Novemberlast year andhas just been completed.
The investment is in addition to the group’s recent in- vestment of about £2 million onseedcleaning, treating and storage.
Managing director of DaltonSeeds, PeterFox, said: “We pride ourselves on being able to attract and retain the best staff in the industry and this development is a key component of that aim.”
