Of­fi­cial open­ing for com­pany’s £1.3 mil­lion development

A £1.3 mil­lion re­de­vel­op­ment of the head of­fice of an agri­cul­tural seed sup­plier has just been of­fi­cially opened. Peter­bor­ough MP Ste­wart Jackson, in the pres­ence of se­nior mem­bers of the agri­cul­tural in­dus­try, was in­vited to open the development at the £80 mil­lion-a year-turnover Dal­mark Group, in Eye.

Thede­vel­op­mentin­cludes an ex­ten­sion to the grain and seed trad­ing of­fice, a 100 sq m cen­tral atrium, three meet­ing rooms, a gym­na­sium and im­proved­ca­teringan­dre­stroom facilities.

Con­struc­tion work be­gan in Novem­ber­last year and­has just been com­pleted.

The in­vest­ment is in ad­di­tion to the group’s re­cent in- vest­ment of about £2 mil­lion on­seed­clean­ing, treat­ing and stor­age.

Man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of Dal­tonSeeds, PeterFox, said: “We pride our­selves on be­ing able to at­tract and re­tain the best staff in the in­dus­try and this development is a key com­po­nent of that aim.”
