Sunny’s ton can’t get his side up
Sunny Singh’s super century proved to be in vain as King’s Keys lost a high-scoring Division Four match at Great Staughton by 34 runs. Kuldip Singh also scored 50 in the city side’s 265 all-out. There was a thriller in Division Six as Ufford Park seconds and Whittlesesy seconds fought out a high-scoring tie. Ufford Park star was Jan Neville who took the last two Whittlesey wickets when the scores were level. Pete Taylor top scored with 65 in Ufford’s 211-6, while Simon Pollard (75) did best in Whittlesey’s reply. Hampton seconds were bowled out for just 48 by Huntingdon in this division to complete a 222-run defeat.
