The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - News -

Last week, Peterborough City Council said measures which could be put in place to prevent a repeat of the burnt out cars could include a large ditch, fence or lengthy mound to stop cars being dumped on the land. Fire and Rescue Station Commander Karl Bowden, joint head of the SaferPeterborough Partnership, told the PT: “The fire service has been called to incidents in Oxney Road on a number of occasions, which have been fires in the open, rubbish fires and car fires.”
