Tal­ented pri­mary pupil de­signs brand new showhome bed­room

An imag­i­na­tive pupil has won first prize in a de­sign com­pe­ti­tion and will see her work brought to life at CALA Homes’ new devel­op­ment in Peter­bor­ough.

Anya-Mae-Bliszczak, a Year 3 pupil at Hamp­ton Har­gate Pri­mary School, cre­ated a win­ter won­der­land in­spired scheme f or the De­sign a Bed­room Com­pe­ti­tion.

The scheme, which in­cludes snowflake ac­ces­sories, star shaped-lights and a wood­land theme mu­ral has been used by in­te­rior de­sign­ers Claude Hooper In­te­ri­ors to cre­ate a chil­dren’s bed­room at the re­cently launched devel­op­ment.

Anya- Mae re c e i ve d a Kin­dle Fire for her win­ning de­sign and t wo run­ners up, Amy Walthew and Lucy Cush­ion were also awarded gift vouch­ers for their Harry Pot­teran­dad­ven­turein­spired en­tries.

Julie Wil­mot, a teacher at Hamp­ton Har­gate Pri­mary School said: “All the win­ners were de­lighted with their prizes andwe­can’t wait to see Anya-Mae’s de­sign brought to life.”
