Joseph Broom­field struck 108 of a team score of 144 all out for Moul­ton Har­rox in a 97-run re­verse at Or­ton Park sec­onds in Di­vi­sion Six. Hafiz Ma­jeed cracked 104 not out in Spald­ing’s loss to Hunt­ing­don. Cam­bridgeshire were pipped by two wick­ets in their final match of the sea­son but there were com­mend­able dis­plays by the Peter­bor­ough Town trio in­volved. Pace bowler Joe Daw­born had a fine all-round game, top­scor­ing in Cambs’ first in­nings with 69 and tak­ing 5-51 and 4-53. Skip­per Lewis Bruce led the way in Cambs sec­ond in­nings with 60 and Asim Butt made 47 while Bruce took 4-36 off 27 overs in the first in­nings.
