Chair­man to face down his club’s on-line crit­ics

Posh chair­man Dar­ragh MacAn­thony is so fed up with crit­i­cism of his club he’s chal­lenged the moan­ers and whingers to meet him face-to­face tonight (Thurs­day). It’s be­come some­thing of a so­cial me­dia rit­ual af­ter a Posh de­feat for MacAn­tho­ny­to­take stick on Twit­ter and on in­ter­net fo­rums from dis­grun­tled fans.

MacAn­tho­ny­hasabig­p­res­ence on Twit­ter - he has over 44,ooo followers - and of­ten be­comes em­broiled in ar­gu­mentswith those whoir­ri­tate him.

The chair­man’s re­sponse now is to hold a fans’ fo­rum in the Caro­line Hand Ex­ec­u­tive Suite this evening (6.30pm) when all griev­ances can be aired in pub­lic. It’s free ad- mis­sion

MacAn­thony will head a panel com­mit­ted to an­swer­ing any ques­tion.

MacAn­thony used his own Twit­ter feed to say: “To the cur­rent seven or eight moan­ers, es­pe­cially on­lon­don­road. net, youarein­vit­ed­tomeet­the CEO, com­mer­cial di­rec­tor, ticket man­ager, shop­man­ager and­more­toad­dress­con­cerns, queries and ask any ques­tion you feel isn’t ad­dressed or an­swered by the meet­ings with fans’ groups we al­ready have.

“In­stead of con­stant fo­rum snip­ing, moaningandtrolling, put your big boy pants on and come­dow­nan­daskme­andmy staff di­rect ques­tions.”

Posh boss Grant McCann will not be present, He may host a fu­ture fans’ fo­rum.

Dar­ragh MacAn­thony and Bob Symns will be in the Fans Fo­rum hot-seat.
