New on-call fire fight­ers re­cruited

Four new faces are join­ing the rankso­fon-call fire­fight­ing in Cam­bridgeshire. The­lat­est batcho­fon-call re­cruits passed out this month and are now on duty fol­low­ing a three-month train­ing course, serv­ing their com­mu­ni­ties around their work and home life. Wis­bech wel­comes Si­mon Framp­ton, 44, to its on-call crew. The Em­neth res­i­dent, who en­joys mo­tor­bik­ing and fish­ing, will fit fire­fight­ing around­his job as a mo­tor ve­hi­cle tech­ni­cian. Football en­thu­si­ast Dean John­son, 23, joins Whit­tle­sey Fire Sta­tion and HGV driver James Parish, 31, is a newad­di­tion at Hunt­ing­don Fire Sta­tion. Cam­bridgeshire’s only vol­un­teer sta­tion, Peter­bor­oughVol­un­teerFireBri­gade, will swell its ranks with the ad­di­tion of 26- year- old claims han­dlerNathanGlover.
