A child and three others were injured in a five car crash on a Peterborough parkway. The crash happened on the northbound carriageway of the Nene Parkway at Orton Malborne at 12.45pm on Wednesday. One lane was blocked on the road. Three ambulance crews, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer were all sent to the scene. Four patients required treatment. One is a woman and another is a child. There was no information available about the two others who were hurt in the incident. A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the injuries are not thought to be serious. Firefighters were also at the crash and are said to have cut a driver out of one of the cars. There were long delays on the road as the wreckage was cleared away, and the patients received treatment at the side of the road.
