Webb’s AC were back at North View Fish­ery at ged­ney Hill on Sun­day with Martin Parker tak­ing the hon­ours with a net of carp taken on the pole with pel­let for 78lb 9oz.

Alan For­rest came in sec­ond with 69lb 10oz fol­lowed by Mick Humphries on 69lb.


Yax­ley, Farcet, Holme and Dis­trict AC fished their pairs matchat Rave­ley Drain where Mike Ma­hon and Ivan Mar­riott took the hon­ours with 10 lb 8oz, catch­ing 6lb 12 oz and 3lb 12oz re­spec­tively.

Ma­hon fished wag­gler to catch roach and skim­mers on pinkie hook­bait. Mar­riott fished wag­gle ron the far bank and the pole at five me­tres us­ing red mag­got.

Runners- up were John Fur­nell and Frank Bevilac­qua with their to­tal of 8lb 9 oz made up from 5lb 3oz and 3lb 6 oz.

There was dou­ble de­light for Ma­hon as he also took home the lucky peg money which had grown to three fig­ures.


The Wed­nes­day Float Fish Farm Over 55 s match was won by Dave Marzell with 119lb 4oz fol­lowed by Alan Wig­gins (117lb) and Vince Hull (96lb 8oz).
