Parker the best on View at Gedney

Webb’s AC were back at North View Fishery at gedney Hill on Sunday with Martin Parker taking the honours with a net of carp taken on the pole with pellet for 78lb 9oz.

Alan Forrest came in second with 69lb 10oz followed by Mick Humphries on 69lb.

YAXLEY

Yaxley, Farcet, Holme and District AC fished their pairs matchat Raveley Drain where Mike Mahon and Ivan Marriott took the honours with 10 lb 8oz, catching 6lb 12 oz and 3lb 12oz respectively.

Mahon fished waggler to catch roach and skimmers on pinkie hookbait. Marriott fished waggle ron the far bank and the pole at five metres using red maggot.

Runners- up were John Furnell and Frank Bevilacqua with their total of 8lb 9 oz made up from 5lb 3oz and 3lb 6 oz.

There was double delight for Mahon as he also took home the lucky peg money which had grown to three figures.

FLOAT FISH FARM

The Wednesday Float Fish Farm Over 55 s match was won by Dave Marzell with 119lb 4oz followed by Alan Wiggins (117lb) and Vince Hull (96lb 8oz).
