In­crease in 999 am­bu­lance calls

The East of Eng­land Am­bu­lance Ser­vice re­ceived more than 9,100 999 calls dur­ing the Bank Hol­i­day week­end, nine per cent more than last year. In Cam­bridgeshire there were 1,123 calls, up from 1,095 in 2015. Sandy Brown, di­rec­tor of nurs­ing and clin­i­cal qual­ity, said: “I’d like to thank ev­ery­one for their ef­forts.”
