Limit to power of solar panels

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Your Views -

Tom Hughes needs to get his head out of the sand.

Solar panels are not the solution to all our energy needs as they ONLY generate power

when the sun shines.

So plastering them over every structure available will gain us nothing in winter.

He needs to consider how our energy needs will be met during the long, cold, dark nights of winter, when the wind is not blowing and it is 90 minutes either side of high/low tide so no tidal power. Trevor Mills Hazel Croft Werrington
