Election defeat will be MPs’ fault

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Your Views -

Whilst I respect the views of Matthew Mahabadi (letters page 8/09/2016) I can’t agree with them.

If Jeremy Corbyn is reelected it will not be down to him if we lose the next General Election.

Those responsible will be the Labour MPs who think they can ignore the will of the majority of party members.

These are the people who pay their membership and go out knocking on doors in

all weathers and put them in their positions.

One wonders how many member will be working for the likes of Owen Smith, Angela Eagle and Hilary Benn in the next election.

The country is calling out for a straightforward and principled leader and I believe this is Jeremy Corbyn. Cllr Jo Johnson Labour East Ward
