Newspapers key in home search
More than 50 per cent of home buyers still find their property through traditional methods such as the local newspaper, according to a home-moving survey by UK website Which?. Its 2016 survey of homebuyers revealed 55 per cent of buyers used traditional methods such as looking in an estate agent’s window or the local newspaper, while 45 percent used more modern – usually electronic – methods. The survey shows that of most common traditional methods, six per cent of buyers find the home of their dreams through a local newspaper.
