Volunteers reach new heights

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - The Week In Pictures -

A brave team of volunteers have raised vital funds for charity by climbing Mount Snowdon. Volunteers from Peterborough-based charity Children of Adam and Amazon ward nurse John-Paul completed the epic challenge on Saturday, led by organiser Atiq Rehman. Atiq organised the climb to help support local charity Little Miracles in their bid to raise £3,000 to purchase a defibrillator for their centre in Peterborough. Money raised was also donated to the Children’s Amazon Ward at Peterborough City Hospital, where volunteer climber John-Paul works. Children of Adam is Peterborough’s first Muslim registered charity which helps the homeless and those also in need. Projects include the Syria Emergency Appeal, Homeless Project and Gift A Vision, amongst many more. Find out more online at http://childrenofadam.net/
