Pair running in memory of mum

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - Special Report -

Jane Oliver had run a few five kilometre races and even tackled some 10 kilometre runs. But, sitting by her Mum Sue’s hospice bed at Thorpe Hall, she vowed it was time to step up her game. There and then she decided the next time she crossed a start line it would be with a half marathon ahead of her, and she’d be doing it to raise money for the charity supporting her Mum in her final days. Sue died over the Spring bank holiday at the end of May. Since then Jane and her partner Steve have been in training. Jane (42) said she felt she had to do something to help the hospice. She said: “Mum, in fact all of us, were so well looked after I wanted to do something positive to support the hospice,” To support the pair, visit here www.justgiving.com/gojaneandsteve
