Woman killed in two car collision on Fen road

A woman died following a crash which left twovehicles in a ditch in the Fens. Police are appealing for witnesses following the fatal collision in Three Holes, near Wisbech, on Thursday. It happened at about 6.30pm at the junction of Silt Road and Main Road on the A1101. A silver Citroen Saxo was travelling up Silt Road towards the junction of Main Road when it was in collision with a black Golf GTI whichhadbeenheadingfrom Cockley Road towards Three Holes. The elderly female front seat passenger in the Citroen, who was from the March area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
