Nothing to ‘Crow’ about for Sports

Stanground Sports Reserves lost for the first time in Division Two, going down 3-0 at Crowland Reserves for whom Jack Gale, Jordan Kirchin and Simon Acton scored. Ketton Reserves won their first game. Bretton North End won their Sunday Cup tie after a 4-1 penalty shoot-out success at Northampto­n Norteles. It was 4-4 after 90 minutes with Fernand Bass (2) and Jordan Fiddes scoring for Bretton (plus an own goal). Parkway keeper Paul Passero saved two shoot-out penalties plus one in regulation time. Halcyon won their Trophy tie 5-4 on penalties after a 4-4 draw with Burton Latimer. Leigh Sharp scored twice for Halcyon.
