Iain re­warded for life­time’s work

Well-known Peter­bor­ough busi­ness­man Iain Crighton has been pre­sented with a life­time achieve­ment award. Mr Crighton, who has run his own busi­nesses and was also pres­i­dent of the Cam­bridgeshire Cham­ber of Com­merce for eight years and has just re­tired as chair of Peter­bor­ough’s Cham­ber, was pre­sented with the award at the Peter­bor­ough Re­gional PR & Me­dia Awards 2016 hosted by Athene Com­mu­ni­ca­tions. The award, pre­sented by Peter­bor­ough City Coun­cil’s chief ex­ec­u­tive, Gillian Beasley, is for Mr Crighton’s con­tri­bu­tions to busi­ness, char­ity and sport in the city. Mr Crighton is a for­mer chair­man and trustee with the Sports Aid Foun­da­tion and is trustee for Cam­bridgeshire Com­mu­nity Foun­da­tion. Richard As­tle, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor at Athene Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, said: “We wanted to high­light the great work Iain has done and con­tin­ues to do.”
