A 13-year-old schoolgirl was sexually assaulted as she travelled on a train to Peterborough. Now police are appealing for information to try and trace three men they want to speak to in connection with the incident, which left the teenage girl ‘shaken.’

The incident happened on the train between Grantham andPeterboroughonTuesday, December 13 last year.
The girl was travelling on the train at about 4.10pm when three men made sexually inappropriate comments to her.
Onethentouchedherthigh and, when she pointed to the school blazer she was wearing, made sexual comments about her.
The men then prevented the teenager from moving to another carriage.
A British Transport Police spokesman said the victim and all three of the offenders alighted at Peterborough Station.
Investigating officer PC Wendy Freeman urged wit- nesses, or anyone with information about the three men pictured, tocomeforwardand speak to officers.
PC Freeman said: “The girl was left very shaken following this incident and I want to commend her for reporting it to police.
“We will not tolerate anyone being made to feel like this and so I urge anyone with information to come forward immediately.”
