Air am­bu­lance called to home

The Mag­pas Air Am­bu­lance landed in Peter­bor­ough after a man fell ill at a city house. Am­bu­lance crews at­tended the ad­dress at St John’s Street, while the he­li­copter landed in nearby Stan­ley Re­cre­ation Ground at about 11.30am yes­ter­day (Wed­nes­day). The man, aged in his 50s, had col­lapsed after fall­ing ill. An East of Eng­land Am­bu­lance spokesman said the man was taken to Peter­bor­ough City Hospi­tal by land am­bu­lance.
