THE 40th Anniversary of John Carpenter’s cult film was marked by a pre-Christmas DVD set and now comes the ultimate re-mastered Blu-ray Limited Edition with best-ever picture and sound.

It’s an Alamo-like story of a small group of defenders at an about-to-be-closed-down ghetto police station battling to hold off a horde of thugs intent on getting in to kill them. Under siege and with power and phone lines cut, lone cop Ethan Bishop (Austin Stoker) and his skeleton staff – including two secretaries - have to recruit DeathRow-boundpris- onerNapoleonWilson(Darwin Joston) and his cellmate Wells (Tony Burton) to join in a fight for life. Carpenter skilfully develops the characters and the tension amidst the hell-forleather action. Fans will love all the extras too.
