Attempted murder arrest
A Peterborough man has been arrested on suspicion oft heattempted murder of a 17- yearold boy.
Officers from Northamptonshire police carried out a raid at a property in Hinchcliffe, Or ton Gold hay on Tuesday morning.
The operation was connected with the shooting of a 17-year-old boyinBraybrooke, Northamptonshire, last summer.
A 41- year- old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Detective Sergeant Carrie Powers, from the Organised Crime team, said: “The arrest was made in connection with the shooting of a 17-year-old boyat the Greenfield traveller site, Braybrooke, onSunday10 July 2016. Thevictim suffered serious life-cha ng inginjuries.
“The 41-year-old man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
“A number of other people, who have been arrested since this complex investigation started, remainonpolice bail.
“Northamptonshire Police is continuing to appeal for information about the incident in Braybrooke.
“Witnesses or anyonewith any information about the incident are asked to call police 101 or alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
Seven men and a woman have already been arrested and granted bail in connection with the investigation.
They were arrested in July, August and November in Northamptonshire. Nocharges have been brought.
