Driver fined for blue badge mis­use

A man was forced to pay more than £350 af­ter plead­ing guilty to mis­us­ing a Blue Badge be­long­ing to a rel­a­tive. De­liv­ery driver Martin Wise­man ,53, of Clover Road in Mar­ketDeep­ing, ap­peare­dat Peterborough Mag­is­trates’ Court yes­ter­day (Wed­nes­day) and was or­dered to pay afi­neof£78, a£30vic­tim­sur- charge and £250 costs. The court heard that on the af­ter­noon of July 5, Wise­man parked in a pay and dis­play space close to West­gate House, Park Road, Peterborough, and dis­played a Blue Badge be­long­ing to a rel­a­tive who was not with him in the ve­hi­cle. The car was parked for five hours.
