Driver fined for blue badge misuse
A man was forced to pay more than £350 after pleading guilty to misusing a Blue Badge belonging to a relative. Delivery driver Martin Wiseman ,53, of Clover Road in MarketDeeping, appearedat Peterborough Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday) and was ordered to pay afineof£78, a£30victimsur- charge and £250 costs. The court heard that on the afternoon of July 5, Wiseman parked in a pay and display space close to Westgate House, Park Road, Peterborough, and displayed a Blue Badge belonging to a relative who was not with him in the vehicle. The car was parked for five hours.
