Taxi gi­ant Ad­di­son Lee spon­sors event as it seeks to find 150 ex­tra staff

Hun­dreds of jobs are likely to be up for grabs at a ca­reers event to be held in Peter­bor­ough.

And new ar­rival to Peter­bor­ough, taxi gi­ant Ad­di­son Lee, has agreed to be spon­sor for The Job Show which will take place on Septem­ber 14.

The com­pany, which has just opened a cus­tomer ser­vice cen­tre in Hamp­ton, will be show­cas­ing 150 jobs at the expo.

Dozens of com­pa­nies from a range of sec­tors will be show­cas­ing their em­ploy­ment op­por­tu­ni­ties at the show which will be held at Peter­bor­ough United Foot­ball Club, in Lon­don Road.

The show, which is free to en­ter, will be open from 10.30am to 3pm.

Ben Ford, head of cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence for Ad­di­son Lee, said: “If you’re look­ing for a high-qual­ity role with a grow­ing business op­er­at­ing in a dy­namic sec­tor then come along and talk to the Ad­di­son Lee team.”

Vic­to­ria Clarke, direc­tor of The Job Show, said: “We are de­lighted to be back here again in Peter­bor­ough this year – a big thankyou to our spon­sor Ad­di­son Lee.”
