There was an open­ing day shock for Peter­bor­ough Pre­mier Di­vi­sion ti­tle fan­cies ICA Sports.

ICA trav­elled to Lev­er­ing­ton Sports for a ‘ground-hop’ fix­ture Sun­day and de­liv­ered a dis­ap­point­ing dis­play as they slipped to a 2-0 de­feat in front of a crowd of 302.

Ryan Alexan­der and sub­sti­tute Ivaylo Ray­chev scored the sec­ond-half goals for the home side.

There were no such prob­lems for reg­u­lar ti­tle chal­lengers Moul­ton Har­rox who beat new­lypro­moted Sutton Bridge United 3-0.

Mar­cus Parry, Matthew Watkin and Dan Woods scored for Har­rox. This match drew a crowd of 280.

The Di­vi­sion One match between Long Sutton Ath­letic and Tydd St Mary was aban­doned af­ter home player Glen Wells suf­fered a se­ri­ous in­jury.
