Maddison is definitely worth at least a million

On the Priority Points ticket system...
On paper this new system does look fairer and far better. Ideally I would have liked to see additional weighting given to long-standing season ticket holders, but, as it stands, this system is a step in the right direction so it would be churlish not to give Posh a bit of credit!
The supporters with the most points will be those who go to the most games, but it doesn’t necessarily make them the biggest fans, just the ones who have more time on their hands. poshontour On signing Idris Kanu...
As if Posh have signed the player I watched quite a few times last season at Aldershot! It’s a very good signing.
He’s definitely worth a punt. Can’t be any worse than the last Kanu we had at Posh!
With our strike force this season (I’m still hoping CMS is part of it) they should change the sign outside the stadium from ‘Welcome to Posh’, to ‘Be afraid, be very afraid.’
On Marcus Maddison’s price tag...
Maddison is worth all of £1 million. His touch is perfection. He could land the ball on a sixpence from 50 yards.
Fletton lad Marcus is definitely worth a million in today’s football transfer market. Look at the Premiers League and see the players changing hands for 30 to 50 million quid. He will be a bargain for a Championship club who will sell him on for eight or nine times that.
I can see this going the way of the Lee Tomlin saga. Blackburn/Wigan/Rotheram offer £999,999 or something. Posh reject it then Marcus spends the next six months being (more) stroppy. Cue us shifting him on in a rushed two-day period in January for peanuts.
On signing Steven Taylor...
I was getting worried with all the non-league signings, but this is a good signing.
