Care agency staff win high praise for their compassion and dedication

Staff at a care agency based in Peterborou­gh have been praised for their compassion and dedication.

Focus Care Agency’s support worker, Florin Moales, won the Care Newcomer award while team leader, Alison Soanes, was the highest ranked for the Frontline Leaders award. The awards were made at the Great British Care Awards Regional Finals held in Peterborou­gh. Afterwards, a spokes- man for the Welbeck Way company said: “We proudly celebrate Florin’s and Alison’s great achievemen­ts. They are fantastic ambassador­s of our company and are brilliant examples of how we support people in our care.”

Judges said: “Florin has made a significan­t difference and Alison’s passion for her role shone through. You can tell care for people in need is her lifestyle not a job. Alison’s desire for real outcomes drives continuous improvemen­t.”
