18-year-old is sky high on birthday

The Peterborough Evening Telegraph - - NEWS -

Many people have little recollection of their 18th birthdays, but for Oliver Allan his special day proved to be an unforgettable experience.

Oliver from Werrington took part in a skydive at Sibson Airfield to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK which creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The teenager has so far raised £970, but this could double thanks to the Morrisons Foundation where staff match the amount you fundraise.

Oliver said: “The experience was one of the best things I’ve done so far - hanging out the edge of the plane is a feeling you can’t replicate. I really want to say a huge thank you to anyone that donated. It’s gone to an amazing cause.”
