Terror police arrest girl, 14

A 14-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of helping someone to carry out an act of terrorism.

The teenager was arrested in south London yesterday. Police said: “The girl was arrested on suspicion of assisting a person to carry out an act of terrorism, contrary to section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.”
