Pedestrian dies at scene of crash

A pedestrian has died in a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on the A917 between Anstruther and Pittenweem, Fife, just before 6pm on Thursday.

Police said the 53-year-old woman died at the scene.

A 45-year-old male motorcyclist sustained a number of injuries and was taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101.
