Stolen cycles found in woods

The Press and Journal (Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire) - - LOCAL NEWS -

Three bikes have been recovered after they were stolen from a shed in Ellon.

The garden shed, at a property on Scotsfir Crescent, was broken into between 5pm on Saturday, February 24, and 7.30am on Monday, February 26.

The three bicycles were later discovered in nearby woodland.

Constable Liam Cousins said: “Although thankfully the three stolen bikes were recovered, damage was caused to the shed as part of the break-in.

“If anyone was in the Scotsfir area of Ellon at the weekend and recalls seeing or hearing anything suspicious, I would ask them to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is urged to phone the police on 101.
