World-record breaking cyclist Mark Beaumont will provide an insight into how he overcame setbacks to achieve success at a free networking event in Aberdeen.

The ultra-endurance expert, and business ambassador, is set to take to the track at Aberdeen Sports Village on May 2 to give an inspirational talk to delegates attending Business Gateway Aberdeen City and Shire’s latest Go Network event.

Taking place from 2pm4pm, the event aims to provide anyone thinking of starting, running or growing their own business with an opportunity to expand their contacts book.

Andrew Burnett, operations director of Business Gateway Aberdeen City and Shire, said: “Being at the peak of his profession, Mark understands how much work needs to go into preparing for a challenge, how to handle the pressure that comes with success, and how to overcome challenges that can’t be planned for.”
