Teen faces charges

A 17-year-old boy has been charged following an assault and attempted robbery at a shop in a north-east town.

The alleged incident happened at the Nickel and Dime store in Fraserburgh at around 4pm on Monday. The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in private at Peterhead Sheriff Court yesterday charged with assault and attempted robbery, and assault to injury. He made no plea and was released on bail.
