Tina’ s turned off by grinders
Former chart-topper Tina Turner has dubbed “grinding” pop stars a “turn off ”.
The singer, 77, said that stars were competing with each other to remove more clothes.
“It really can be a turn off,” she added.
“One does it and everyone does it. The costumes become less and less. I just take a deep breath and say, ‘When is it over?!’”
Concern over Facebook ads
Facebook is to review its advertising targeting system after it was revealed ads could be directed at those who expressed hateful opinions on the site.
An investigation by ProPublica found that advertisers on the social network could target adverts at people who had identified themselves as “hating” Jews on their profiles.
Fire disrupts Euston trains
London Euston railway station was hit by major disruption at rush hour yesterday following a fire at a timber yard.
A trackside wall was damaged in the blaze and had to be dismantled and made safe before services between Milton Keynes and Euston could resume.
