Tina’ s turned off by grinders

For­mer chart-top­per Tina Turner has dubbed “grind­ing” pop stars a “turn off ”.

The singer, 77, said that stars were com­pet­ing with each other to re­move more clothes.

“It re­ally can be a turn off,” she added.

“One does it and ev­ery­one does it. The cos­tumes be­come less and less. I just take a deep breath and say, ‘When is it over?!’”

Con­cern over Face­book ads

Face­book is to re­view its ad­ver­tis­ing tar­get­ing sys­tem af­ter it was re­vealed ads could be di­rected at those who ex­pressed hate­ful opin­ions on the site.

An in­ves­ti­ga­tion by ProPublica found that ad­ver­tis­ers on the so­cial net­work could tar­get ad­verts at peo­ple who had iden­ti­fied them­selves as “hat­ing” Jews on their pro­files.

Fire dis­rupts Eus­ton trains

London Eus­ton rail­way sta­tion was hit by ma­jor dis­rup­tion at rush hour yes­ter­day fol­low­ing a fire at a tim­ber yard.

A track­side wall was dam­aged in the blaze and had to be dis­man­tled and made safe be­fore ser­vices between Mil­ton Keynes and Eus­ton could re­sume.
