Two in hospital after collision
Emergency services attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision at Nairn yesterday afternoon, and two casualties were taken to hospital.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews from Nairn and another from Inverness to the incident, which occurred at 3.35pm on the A939 road to Grantown.
The Inverness crew stood down once it was established everybody had got out of the vehicles. Crews from Nairn remained on scene to help make the vehicles safe.
One vehicle was reported to be on its side as a partial blockage of the road occurred. Recovery for the vehicles was arranged.
