Two in hospi­tal af­ter col­li­sion

Emer­gency ser­vices at­tended a two-ve­hi­cle road traf­fic col­li­sion at Nairn yes­ter­day af­ter­noon, and two ca­su­al­ties were taken to hospi­tal.

The Scot­tish Fire and Res­cue Ser­vice sent two crews from Nairn and an­other from In­ver­ness to the in­ci­dent, which oc­curred at 3.35pm on the A939 road to Gran­town.

The In­ver­ness crew stood down once it was es­tab­lished every­body had got out of the ve­hi­cles. Crews from Nairn re­mained on scene to help make the ve­hi­cles safe.

One ve­hi­cle was re­ported to be on its side as a par­tial block­age of the road oc­curred. Re­cov­ery for the ve­hi­cles was ar­ranged.
