Health board appoints new head
A new chief operating officer has started work at NHS Western Isles.
William Findlay has taken up the post following the retirement of nurse director Chrisanne Campbell.
Mr Findlay, who is also now the board’s Allied Health Professionals director, previously held clinical leadership positions in Canada.
He said: “It is lovely to be here in the Western Isles. I’ve been made to feel very welcome and thank everyone for that, I’m very much looking forward to working with all of the teams.”
Chief executive Gordon Jamieson said: “I am delighted to welcome William back to Scotland”
