Student board hails new officers
The Highlands and Islands Students Association (HISA) welcomed a new team of officers this week, who will represent the students of the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) as the institution enters another year of growth and change.
While representing over 30,000 students across the university, this year’s officers have pledged to tackle issues of discrimination, sustainability, and mental wellbeing.
Incoming HISA president Florence Jansen said: “I am incredibly excited to be leading the 20-21 HISA Executive Committee through the upcoming academic year. We have some great new officers entering the team, and I can’t wait to see the work they do to improve the student experience across the university.”
