Man had more than £41,000 of drugs hid­den in flat

Jacek Wi­etrzy­chowski, of Strothers Lane, In­ver­ness, ad­mit­ted be­ing con­cerned in the sup­ply of the drug on Oc­to­ber 12 last year.

Fis­cal de­pute Rod­er­ick Urquhart told In­ver­ness Sher­iff Court yes­ter­day that po­lice were act­ing on in­for­ma­tion and ob­tained a search war­rant for his then prop­erty in Far­ra­line Court.

When of­fi­cers en­tered, 30-year-old Wi­etrzy­chowski showed them to his bed­room and pointed to a holdall with the drugs.

Mr Urquhart said: “More drugs were found in a kitchen drawer. In to­tal, 2,516.72 grams were re­cov­ered with a value of be­tween £15,185 and £41,795.”

Sen­tence was de­ferred for a back­ground re­port un­til Au­gust 25 and he was re­manded in cus­tody.
