Rocket sci­ence is fun at theatre work­shop

Many guests at­tended the work­shop, which was or­gan­ised in ad­vance of a show­ing of the play Rocket Post, which tells the tale of Ger­man sci­en­tist Ger­hard Zucker who wanted to use rock­ets to de­liver the post.

And peo­ple jumped at the chance to get in­volved at For­res Town Hall on Satur­day with 24 peo­ple at the morn­ing work­shop and 12 in the af­ter­noon.

Mrs Gourlay said: “It was great to have so many peo­ple there, but we can work with large and small groups. The aim is to bring fam­i­lies to­gether, th­ese days some peo­ple don’t even have meals to­gether and ev­ery­one is on the phone. We aim to get back to ba­sics and get peo­ple play­ing to­gether.

“We take on the role of rocket sci­en­tists lead­ing a con­fer­ence and let them come up with new ideas.

“We’ve been in Stornoway, Ul­lapool and For­res, we are in Aboyne on Tues­day, Port­soy on Wed­nes­day then in Aberdeen and then we’re off to more lo­ca­tions in the cen­tral belt.”
