Run­rig’s prom­ise to reach fans one last time

Scot­tish rock­ers Run­rig have con­firmed they are “ex­plor­ing” new ways to help dis­ap­pointed fans who couldn’t get tick­ets for their farewell con­cert.

All 25,000 tick­ets for the good­bye open-air con­cert in Stir­ling next year have sold out.

The band, which was founded on Skye in 1973, are re­tir­ing af­ter 45 years in the mu­sic busi­ness.

Their fi­nal gig will be staged in Stir­ling’s City Park on 18 Au­gust, 2018.
