Police hunt for vandals

The Press and Journal (Inverness) - - NEWS -

Police in Thurso are appealing for information following a vandalism spree in the town at the weekend.

A number of vehicles were reportedly damaged while parked in the Park Avenue, Springpark Terrace and Murkle View area overnight from Friday into Saturday.

Seven reports of damage have been made to police, with all of the vehicles involved having suffered bodywork damage such as having their wing mirrors broken off.

Officers are keen to speak to a group of men who were seen in the area around the time.

Inspector Nick Clasper said: “This kind of behaviour is completely selfish and unnecessary, as well as being a source of great frustration to the victims.

“I would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious on that night to contact us on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
