Film chief in fra­cas at ho­tel

For­mer High­lands and is­lands film com­mis­sioner Tr­ish Short­house yes­ter­day ad­mit­ted caus­ing a dis­tur­bance in an In­ver­ness ho­tel.

The 55-year-old, now liv­ing in Shake­speare Close, Torquay, pleaded guilty at In­ver­ness Sher­iff Court to be­hav­ing in a threat­en­ing and abu­sive man­ner and shout­ing and swear­ing in the Beau­fort Ho­tel, Cul­duthel Road, on June 21. Sher­iff Gor­don Fleet­wood de­ferred sen­tence un­til De­cem­ber 7 for a back­ground re­port.
