Join us in hunt for the cyber criminals
Thousands of young people across the north and north-east will be told of the benefits of a career hunting cyber criminals over the next week.
The sixth annual series of Christmas Cyber Lectures will start in Stornoway today.
It will head to Inverness and Aberdeen early next week, before finishing in Glasgow next Friday.
Supported by the Scottish Government, each session will include talks from industry representatives and technological academics, with the aim of sparking intrigue in the sector for the next generation.
Martin Beaton, cyber security cluster co-ordinator for Scotland, said: “The cyber security sector is suffering from a chronic shortage of skilled professionals, which is where our lectures come in.”
