A man has appeared in court after drugs worth more than £126,000 were recovered in Aberdeen.

Officers carried out an intelligence-led operation in Ferryhill on Wednesday afternoon and, in addition to finding cocaine, cannabis and heroin, also discovered £18,500 in cash.

And, following this, Luke Marshall appeared in Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday, facing a charge of being involved in the supply of drugs. The 22-yearold, whose address was given as Aberdeen, made no plea and was remanded in custody. He is expected to return to court within eight days.

Constable Alan Gordon, who led the inquiry, urged anyone with information about drugs to contact officers. He said: “We are always grateful for the support we have from the public and encourage anyone with concerns regarding drugs to report these to police on 101.”
