The Press and Journal (North-East) - - NEWS - Watchdog bans universities’ ads

A High Court judge has issued an urgent appeal for help finding a baby who has disappeared from her London home.

Eight-month-old Rose Paduraru is thought to be with her seven-yearold sister and 12-yearold brother. Mr Justice Keehan said yesterday he was “very seriously concerned” for the children’s welfare. The advertising watchdog has banned “misleading” claims by six UK universities about their rankings, student satisfaction and graduate prospects.

Falmouth, Teesside, East Anglia, Leicester, Strathclyde and West London universities have all been told to remove claims found by the Advertising Standards Authority to be misleading and unsubstantiated from their websites and other marketing material.
